Matplotlib is a 2D plotting library for the Python programming language and its numerical mathematics extension NumPy. Matplotlib can be integrated with other packages such as Seaborn or Bokeh for more advanced graphics.
NumPy is a foundational package for scientific computing with Python. It defines an N-dimensional array object, and provides efficient operations on these arrays such as calculating a dot product or finding the sum of two matrices. It also contains linear algebra, Fourier transforms, and random number generation functionality.
